This is one helluva great pocket knife from Spyderco. Great price, excellent design and build quality, near premium steel, light weight. For a knife with pretty good sized blade (3.37 inches), it weighs only 3 oz. While the knife is put together with rivets, the pivot is adjustable with Torx screw. Light weight FRCP (fiberglass reinforced Co-polymer), fancy name for plastic comprise the handle material with no metal liners, hence the light weight. For mundane EDC purposes, metal liners are not necessary when the material is sufficiently rigid. While not as rigid, it is pound for pound lighter than G-10 and the bi-directional pattern on the handle gives it a very good traction. Carpenter CTS-DB1 steel keeps its working edge for a long time and is fairly easy resharpen. If you love the regular Manix 2 but not for its heavy weight, you will love this knife. All the goodness and the utility of regular Manix 2 in light weight version. The steel is almost as good as CPM S30V for EDC use, ball bearing lock works just as well as the regular Manix 2, the pocket clip has just the right amount of tension. The price is usually about $20 cheaper than regular Manix 2.Read full review

Awesome knife!Light, solide, perfect ergos, great steel, very rust resistent and easy to sharpen. The bi-directional texture of the frn locks the knife in your hand, and it doesnt feel at all cheap. The lock is strong, with no play whatsoever, and very easy to disengage on handed. The clip is the best i had on a knife. Only problem is you wont be able to just buy one.

Would definitely recommend this knife for EDC. It’s really lightweight and has a solid blade locking mechanism. And the blade quality is top notch. Overall it’s a little bit on the large side.

I really like this knife. This is my first Spyderco and it is not too big but not so small you can't get all your hand around for good grip. Lightweight so that it doesn't feel to heavy in the pocket. Great fidget knife too. Overall a great knife
