all of the cat who books are great. Love em, just didn't have this one. They're a mystery and a humor book combined, and the author excells at both.

In this book KoKo knows that there is something with the newest person in town. How does he tell Qwill what is wrong? I love the way the cat makes Qwill understand what he wants him to know. This one is worth the read. Life in my small town was never this exciting. I love the whole series. I'm just gald I'm not moving to Pickax. All the new people seem to meet a nasty end. If you like cats and like to solve mysteries, this is for you. I reminds me a lot of Agatha Christie. I read all of her books. Qwill is a lot nicer to the people of his new hometown than Miss Marple. Take the chance, read the book. Try to stay in order though, they make more sense.
I must admit that I'm addicted to "The Cat Who . . ." series for, yes, light reading, but also for story plots that keep me interested until the very last page. Ms. Braun manages to keep readers on their toes with her many twists and turns. Rarely have I figured out the ending before I've gotten there. This book is no exception. I enjoyed it thoroughly, as did my friend who borrowed it when I was finished. The characters are so familiar that they've become almost like family, but new ones always pop up. And they're never one-dimensional, which adds to the intrigue. Like Sue Grafton's alphabet mystery series, I read these books because they're fun!
Part of a great series
