Nice solid tactical style scope. Compact size is great for short barreled AR style builds. The integrated quick disconnect style mount makes it easy and fast to mount or change the optic. The quality of the NcStar products has been impressive for an economy priced optic. I have used them on several of my builds. Was a perfect addition to my new Ruger 10/22 takedown build as well.

Got 2. One for a 22 which works great just takes a long time to sight in. The other got for 223/5.56 took long to sight in and towards the end of finally sighting it in the sleeve you mount the holographic sight on came loose from the recoil. Frustrated I ended up getting offset mounts for the holographic sights so far so good after putting the offset mounts on. Overall still pretty good for the money but just costs more to make it right.

This scope looks sweet, and has that awesome AR look. As far as sites and everything, they are not my favorite. The Lighting for the sites is inadequate in daylight, but awesome at night, but mine only has one brightness on the red setting instead of 3. The quick release on the mounting system broke the first time I used it and I had to find some way to replace all of the hardware on it. The Scope itself is an average scope and sites well at 100 yards, but does not compare to my nikon buckmaster. If I was buying another scope for my gun, knowing what I know now, I would invest in something else.
I have this about 6 month. $139.00 w/ laser and flash, that I never use. The only problem was the mount bar which hold it from moving front & back. I called and they sent a new one in less then a week. I use it for target shooting, mostly at 100 yards, but I'm sure the the 3-9 power will get me out to 2-300yards.My main worry -holding zero. It has so far on my SIG 556. I like it and and would buy it again.
i own several NcStar scopes and have never had an issue with them. I purchased this one for my Colt M4 Carbine and it is amazing. the optics are clear and dead on while the laser is everything i hoped it would be. at 75 yards i can see it perfectly. Should you purchase an NcStar scope for your AR ? absolutely ! the armor coating, superior optics and onboard laser make them the perfect AR scope.
