Good ol' Walt Disney productions has produced another lasting classic. I've enjoyed this movie ever since it came out, maybe enjoying it more each viewing. As sweet as Mary herself is, it's Bert the chimney sweep, played by Dick Van Dyke, that entertains me more-so. The special effects are just wonderful. Each of the characters they visit carries their own weight in entertaining. A most memorable segment is Bert's chimney sweep friends dancing on the roof tops. And then there's Uncle Walt (by lovable Ed Wynn)who charishes a "good" ? joke while they all float to the ceiling sitting in their chairs and at his table laughing and spinning around the room. Imagination at its best. Delightfuly lasting songs.
