I had been playing (off and on) with Ping Eye 2s for 30 years, I finally decided that since I'm playing in a senior group every week, I deserve some new irons. I researched these and determined that they would fit my game and need, but they cost more than I wanted to pay. When I saw them on ebay and saw the price they were selling for, I thought it was worth bidding on a set. After losing one attempt, I tried a different tactic on another set from the same seller and won the bid for a great price. I got them four days earlier than projected and was able to play with them before I was able to hit them on the range. I shanked damn near every shot with them and was really discouraged, plus they really looked strange as I addressed the ball - much wider than my Pings ... I wasn't very happy with my new clubs, I read up on the clubs, and on how to cure shanks; went to the range and applied the correction exercise and cured the shank problem. After that, on my second round with the new clubs, I shot an 83, which was about 12 strokes better than what I had been shooting lately. My challenge now is to re-compute my club distances - these clubs are less lofted, thus I hit them farther, so I had to get a gap wedge to fill the gap from the PW to SW. I anticipate that I will continue to improve as I play with these clubs more.Read full review

The new graphite irons are much better than my Titlest Forged blades I had. They launch much higher and are more forgiving but the hybrids I expected to be much easier to strike and fly the ball further and we're forgiving. But they are hard to work your ball to the left or right and don't get the ball out very well in the rough. Think I'm going to try and sell the 3&4 hybrids and use money for a good rescue club 3-4. Other than that maybe this set was just not right for my game. Should have got just a 4 hybrid and 5-GW set instead.

I had a set of Adams hybrid clubs that are about 6 years old and loved them. Decided to upgrade to a newer technology and wow! Have had to readjust my thinking because these new Adams irons have been overshooting the greens. Better balance and easier to swing than my old set. Don't be fooled by the low price, these are quality clubs.

I bought this set to replace my aging set of Adams A3OS irons. Both sets are a combination of true hybrid (3,4, and 5), then the shorter irons become progressively less hybrid. The set was advertised as "standard loft and lie" however I am getting about 10 metres more in length, which suggests the lofts have been tweeked - no complains from me! I like the full head covers for the 3-5 hybrids, the Adams grips are great and the black finish looks classy however after only 4 x 18 hole rounds, it is already showing wear on the soles of some of my high use clubs notably the 3 hybrid and the pitching wedge. Overall, very happy with the clubs, easy to hit and offline shots are a rarity.

I had been hitting tm burner plus irons. I have a slow swing speed because if I do not swing slow I slice the ball. These irons have helped me in the sense that I am hitting the same handicap almost out of the box with these so I am hopeful when warm weather comes and I am able to play them more that I will improve my handicap.
