between all the spice girls, mel b is the one most strongest character, alongside to geri... but when it comes to her solo album, its not as stronger as her character... mel seemed confused to decide what music would be suit to her character. the first album, hot, filled with rnb stuff, actually quite suitable to her vocal, but sadly i dunno what mel thought when she decided to put such insignificant tracks in that cd, like pack your s***t, i believe, and feel me now, alongside to killer songs like feels so good and tell me. the result....??? hot is one of the worst solo spice album ever. and the second album here, mel was trying to change her music with something unlikable, the music was not really popular in the market right now (read: young people and spice fans), and her vocal was not really suitable with this kind of music. mel has a strong and hard vocal, but all of the tracks in this album doesnt need that kinda vocal she had. although i have to say that this second is way better than the first one, as i dont have to skip tracks when i listen to it, like the first album. this album is not really easy listening, becos mel was quite obvious showed her grown up side with this album, and i think she succeed with that. one more thing i find about this album lately, the more you listen to it, the more you like it, you're not gonna getting bored when you listen to this album more and more.Read full review
