MARY CHAPIN CARPENTER"S 12 SONGS OF CHRISTMAS
I've always LOVED Mary Chapin Carpenter's music. From the night at an awards show she sang this spunky song about " I'm the Opening Act"!!! She is an unbelievable song writer!! This Christmas c/d is all her own songs!! It's not for someone who wants Silent Night or White Christmas. But if you want different heart searching songs about Christmas here you go. Not for everyone but excellent in it's place!!

An outstanding collection of Christmas music, combining some old time favorites with some original new and innovative songs. Mary Chapin Carpenter does a wonderful job of blending the new with the old. A nice change of pace from the standard Christmas Album of good but very predictable songs.
