The Hessaire 700 sq ft evaporative portable cooler is very easy to use and works well in Arizona summer heat. You do have to watch for humidity but I find running the water for about 30 mins and then letting it dry out - repeat- works well in tandem with A/C. Has thus far lowered my electric costs when I compared to last year at same time. Hopefully this will be a long lasting piece of equipment as I've had it almost a month but have been running it about 6 hours daily. If this helps to keep costs down then well worth the investment.

I love it. live in the California high desert (102 degrees today) and have a couple of other type coolers (big house). This is by far the best evaporative cooler I have ever used. It has all the bells and whistles keeps my office area supper cool. after running it on high for a few minutes I set it on low and I'm very comfortable. If I had purchased this the first time I bought a cooler it would be the only type I would ever buy.

pay the extra money and get the MC26 Instead of the MC18. Humidity control is worth the extra cash and twice as good as the MC18. Bigger but uses less water than the smaller MC18

Got this partially for working in my shop and for back yard cook outs. This is excellent for small gatherings.
