This Zippo lighter is a quality lighter that I haven't had any problems with it not lighting. The lid stays closed and doesn't flop open on its own. It does a good job of lighting and staying lit in windy situations My one complaint, which I see as a big problem, is that the lighter can't keep fuel in it very long. The fuel evaporates after a couple days of it not being used. This won't be a problem for you if you are someone who will be using the lighter on a daily basis because you'll use the fuel before it evaporates. I only use the lighter about once a week and I always have to remember to refill the lighter due to it not having enough fuel or any at all.
