I had a small concrete (so I thought) project that I needed to complete so I purchased this bit set. I used both the quarter inch and half inch bits. I had to drill at least 50 holes in order to break out a 12" x 12" x 5" thick section of concrete. I have never seen concrete so hard!! I first used the quarter inch bit to drill the holes first and then followed with the half inch bit. I can honestly tell you that I was pleasantly surprised that both of these bits performed more than I expected. After all this drilling, these bits are still in great shape. I also used a masonry blade in my skill saw and a very large sledge hammer to remove this "small" section of concrete. These bits made it much easier to remove this section. I highly recommend these bits!

I was having a rough time drilling into a concrete porch to install a handrail. I kept wearing down my bits , so I did some research and found that the highest ratings were for these DeWalt bits. I purchased them and to be honest I have not used them yet. But hoping they are as good as the recommendations which I read.
