The buckle measures 2 1/2\" x 1 7/8\". Pretty lightweight and I\'m not positive but I think it could be aluminum,. You collectors will know i\'m sure. Also I\'m told that most of the group of 20 buckles are from the WWI and pre WWI era but that some were possibly used even during WWII as well. I\'m sure that some of them could also be from other countries other than just Germany but all from around that part of the world and in that era of time. All makers markings etc. (if any found) will be shown in the photographs.
