This is a very rare antique handmade wood and iron 1870 D Bainbridge cobbler stand.it is a large heavy piece and has acquired a wonderful patina from age.the base is made from a hand carved solid piece of wood and has a tapered wrought iron foot at the bottom.there is also a wrought iron ring around the top and has the shaft nailed into the wooden base with large handmade nails.the shaft is made from solid cast iron and has makermark/date embossed on the sides.the top has a hole to be able to use different attachments.it is in very nice antique condition and is a very rare piece.measures 26 5/8 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches wide.

buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS\'s new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims.
