Royal Doulton large fruit or center piece bowl.
Series ware:Izaak WaltonSigned \' Noke \' inside bottom rightJedo style rim inside and out with heavy gold accentson the upper rim and base rim.
This is one of the very early pieces of Izaak Walton series ware.D 2420 - dates to about circa 1905 or about 110 years old [ + or - ].Has a # \' 5 \' stamped under the doulton backstamp.
It\'s 9 inches wide x 4 inches tall.
The illustration of the 3 fisherman is in good condition,with no surface scratches.Overall condition;NO chips NO cracks NO hairlines NO restorationsHOWEVER....On the rim is a lone flea bite LESS THAN... 1/16 of a inch in diameter.Gold on upper rim is slightly worn.PATCH of slightly darker glaze crazing above main fisherman\'s head.Minor glaze crazing lines over the entire bowl.
Plates in this series come up from time to time,Bowls are less common to view the pictures, ask questions if needed. !!!
