This is an sale for the extremely rare \"serial experiments lain \'Bootleg\' OFFICIAL soundtrack\". It is called \"bootleg\" in the title, however this is Official and was released by Pioneer records. Catalog Number PICA-1185, Made in Japan, authorized by JASRAC (Japan Recording Association).
This is an authentic, official item that I purchased at least 12 years ago when I was in Japan. It pains me to sell it, but I am moving and truly need the funds. My hope is that this goes to the next true fan of \"serial experiments Lain\".The item, at its core, has one Audio CD and one CD-ROM. It also has a sticker sheet, one sticker of Lain, a mini poster in her casual pose, and a booklet that is a short script/storyboard.One Lain fan wiki says this about the album:\"lain BOOTLEG is the third and final soundtrack for the Serial Experiments Lain anime. It is essentially a score for the show, featuring the several short songs that were used as background music throughout the series.\"
Note on the second disc, which is a CD-ROM:\"This disc is a data CD containing 57 audio files - 45 of them the same as above, plus 12 songs, and several small programs such as a dress-up game, shooting gallery game, wallpapers, and screensavers.\"
Condition:The first disc has a few, centimeter-long hairline scratches (2-3 to the naked eye). The second disc looks scratch free. The box itself shows age but has no damage nor does it have any dents.
