super rare Sarfatti table lamp eames knoll! A really great and super rare Gino Sarfatti table lamp for Lightolier. Nicknamed the muchroom lamp.This lamp is really great. A really nice small scale and incredible design.
A rarity as this lamp was sold through Lightolier for dealers only. The lamp was also distributed through Knoll to the general public and only for a few years.
Highly sought after and coveted by most mid century lovers.
This lamp is in ok vintage original condition.As you can see in the photos, the base was repainted at one point and not well. The original paint is beneath that overpaint and may still be salvaged but I will leave any work up to the lucky buyer.
The shades are original paint but there are chips, and some paint loss. One shade has a small screw holding it in place . The good thing is that everything on the lamp is original and all the parts are there.
This is a very good candidate for a restoration or you can leave it as is and live with the minor problems.
A very rare opportunity to obtain a spectacular iconic piece of mid century design.
