FINEST KNOWN 1920\'s AUSTRIAN ART DECO STERLING ENAMEL LIGHTER SET - offered is a superb late 1920\'s art deco sterling silver hard glass enamel liftarm petrol pocket lighter with matching cigarette case in original box. the high quality lighter and case feature wonderful deco wavy zig-zag floral 5 color enamel design on front of each. the lighter has a solid black enamel back while the case features wonderful center sunburst wavy engine turned design. the lighter is austrian workshop hallmarked along with 935 sterling mark but i am not familiar with this workshop. the lighter and case are equal to alfred dunhill kuppenheim workshop quality of the late 1920\'s period. the lighter measures 1-3/4\" tall x 1-1/2\" wide and is in excellent condition. the mechanism looks unused. there is a very slight scratch on the back that would likely buff out. the colorful enamel is otherwise in perfect condition. the flint wheel moves freely and mechanism should work with proper service of flint and fuel. the cigarette case with interior gold wash measures 3-1/8\" tall x 2-1/4\" wide and is in near mint condition. the interior of case is marked sterling 935 made in austria. both items show mild age silver patina and would sparkle with polish if so desired. some old polish will also clean. the carry box is felt lined but shows age - slight tears in felt and is missing a side edge. if you collect vintage 1920\'s sterling deco enamel liftarm lighters - this set is fantastic and you will love it. overall - a showy luxury workshop art deco jeweler made hard glass enamel austrian liftarm lighter set worthy of the finest collection. this is the nicest 1920\'s austrian workshop deco lighter set ever offered on . additional photos of case interior hallmarks can be emailed upon request. usa registered priority shipping includes insurance. overseas is express airmail with insurance. ship to italy-china-southeast asia - mexico - mideast via express mail -$100.00. **please make sure to read my vintage lighter articles on the internet and in blaze lighter magazine. **please view all the quality vintage lighters-ronsons- dunhill-and 20th century deco modern i offer this week on .
