Victorian black paper Macheslanted writing desk/box.This box is so beautiful andin great Victoriancondition. The top of the desk has Mother of pearlinlay. It is all hand painted and beautifully designed. Thisdesk is slanted to sit on a lady\'s lap and was used for travel. I have owned this piece since the early 1970\'s and is one of my first Victorian purchases. The measurements are 10 1/2\" x 8 1/2\". The original felt was not on when I purchased it and I didn\'t clean off the green residue as to keep it original.
