Purchased in France ( 1927 )
constructed in a black bias cut silk chiffon
decorated with 1000\'s of grey to blue glass beads
there are flowers and scrolls leaves and abstract symbols
some of the beading is 3d ( piled ) you can see the threading and knotting thru the clear ones which is extraordinarydemi fitted classic flapper silhouettetank necklineoverlay from waist downthat curves across the figureflattering feminine perfectionhand sewing through out-you can see in some of the photos we placed a black camisole underneath to show an option-still pretty amazing to think the woman of the 1920\'s were so liberated!a rare magnificent pieceProvenance: A beautiful estate in Beverly Hills California- we were able to meet some of the original owners family members and they showed us beautiful photos of her- awoman of classic American beauty.+ it had a silk belt on the hanger with it which we are including.Extraordinary visual appeal

CONDITION: Excellent with exception to the back overlay -
the beads are missing in a large section
(please look at the photos)
at first we thought it was intentional because it\'s the seat of the dress
but in direct sunlight with a magnifying glass we could see the areas where the beads once were.
the rest of the dress- the front the silk jersey itself are in excellent condition.
