Vintage Franklin Mint Discovery Compass

This instrument is engineered from solid brass. It comes with a walnut stained hardwood pedestal, with the original label. Its purpose was to commemorate the 500th Anniversary (1492-1992) of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus.

This is a beautiful display piece and would make a great addition to a collection, a children’s gift or re-purposed by the budding mad scientist into a new “steam-punk” contraption. I’m for all three!

Measures approx. 7 1/4\" tall.
