For your consideration is an antique, Victorian German fairing. It is solid hand-painted porcelain and I believe it to be an early Conta & Boehm {{with its numbers scratched into the base}}. This fairing is a wonderful subject...a woman (facing away), sitting on a Victorian birthing chair and flanked by the doctors/coaches, helping her to give birth! The script says, \"New {un-readable} Say When?\" It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs.Please enlarge photos and inspect closely as this is the best way to see all of the details!
