ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Bright, bold colors highlight this 12\" across, 10\" tall, vintage 1950\'s or 60\'s Japanese 3D low or bas relief type painting. We\'ve got the water, and what\'s probably Mt. Mikuradake is near Ōno, Hiroshima, Japan. There\'s a body of water nearby it, at Ozegawa Dam.
Maybe that is what\'s in the art; it is very similar to a very old silk item I have and have been unable to ID. I\'d love to know more about the silk item... can\'t sell it until I know what it is... so far no \'expert\' knows other than to say it\'s well over 100 years old, maybe 300.
