- This set of bookends is based on a Rip VanWinkle illustration by W. C Wyeth, thefamousAmerican artist and illustrator. See photo of this illustration by Wyeth. These bookends and the illustration are the same.Great condition. No cracks. No breaks. See photos.
- Some ageappropriate wear to the paint - especially anything white - which never lasted from that era. See photos
- Some rubbing to the base where the name Pompeian Bronze Co. is on each piece but no damage - just age appropriate rubbing
- These are a wonderful set of bookends.
- The Rip Van Winkle pair is 9 inches tall and weigh 5 pounds 6 ounces.
