A vintage circa 1970s hand painted wooden Easter egg that I believe was originally made in Czechoslovakia. I remember this egg from the 1970s and it also does have the mod type of painting from that era- rather bright abstract hippie type colors and abstract design.

It no longer has any type of labeling, but somehow I believe it came from Czechoslovakia? It is not a fine piece of hand painted art work. It is bright and mod and looks like it was done rather quickly for export. It is a heavy wooden egg and it has two tiny holes – one at the top and one at the base.

Size: approx height is 2 3/4ths inches – about a regular chicken egg size.

Condition:brightly colored mod vintage item – does show some light discoloration and wear from age. Also, photos were taken using flash, so the finish is actually more of a matte type look than the shiny look of the flash -brightly colored mod vintage item – does show some light discoloration and wear from age.
