Up for sale, fresh from an old local estate is an amazing early 1900\'s long skirt and jacket set.It is make out of a fine wool and has fancy silk satin trim and embroidered cording.The jacket measures laid flat 20 1/2\" across the bust pit to pit, 18\" across the waist, 19\" across the hips, 26\" sleeves, 18 1/2\" between the back shoulder seams and 42\" long.The shirt hooks closed on the side and measures 13 1/2\" across the waist, full hips and 40\" long.
The jacket is a little big for my smaller sized mannequin.It is in overall great condition for it\'s age, the jacket has a few tiny holes and spots here and there and a little fading and one missing button. The skirt has a lot of fading, see pictures and a few pin tip holes and small spots.I think that this could be dyed a darker color, the wool is very solid and sturdy and so it the satin lining.This is a beautiful set that will make a fine addition to your out my other vintage sales from the same estate!USPS and FedEx prices steadily keep increasing.
