1/6 PLATE DAGUERREOTYPE - STUNNING PRINCESS LEIA IN BRAIDS DOMED GLASS FULL CASE- She is a special lady captured onto a silvered piece of copper andwonderfully hand tinted. Her portrait still retains the original domed glass although she has been professionally resealed with P90 archival tape. The lovely young lass has the most wonderful braids tied with silk ribbons that are hand tinted as well as accents throughout her dress. The plate resides in her full case for your enjoyment. CONDITION:Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of the image and as part of my description. The sixth plate came to me resealed with P90 archival tape and fitted with the original domed sheet of glass. The image excellent condition, with only a couple horizontal lines I believe from the buffing process. The image is sharp and what the plate lacks in strong contrast is made up with gorgeous hand tinting. The case has a brilliant red pillow with a floral design, both working latches and a nicely restored leather hinge. I will ship this item to the winning buyer carefully packaged by Priority Mail.
