With fall season approaching this is the perfect designer decor piece with a harvest theme or Halloween theme. Beautiful hand-painted leaded stained glass panel illustrating children preparing a traditional "Guy" (an effigy of Guy Fawkes) for England's annual Bonfire Night celebration held each November 5. This charming narrative scene captures one of Britain's best-known historic traditions and features exceptional painted detail, rich period colors, and Gothic Revival architectural elements. Appears to be a work by Charles Elmer Kempe.

The upper inscription reads:

"Dull November brings the blast, then the leaves are whirling fast."

The verse is taken from"The Months"bySara Coleridge (1802–1852), daughter of Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Her poetry was widely published during the Victorian era and frequently appeared in educational books.

The panel features hand-painted figures executed with traditional vitreous enamel and silver stain, original lead cames, and is housed in an oak frame.
