Thomas A. Edison at age 20 while living in Louisville, KY. This particular photograph has never surfaced in any other form. Pre-dates Edison’s Lone Jack rookie card by twenty years. One of a kind ‘museum worthy’ piece. 6.5 x 4.25”
For skeptics, proof is in the data. See attached photos of census.gov reports from 1870. Approximately 20,000 men between ages 18-45 populated Louisville, KY— so divide this number by twenty seven to calculate any given age in that bracket. 27/20,000 = 740. Therefore, there were approx 740 men at age 20 living in Louisville, KY in 1870. The odds of someone even remotley resembling Thomas Edison from this small population pool is staggeringly low, nearly impossible.
Additionally, studies have shown, exact matches are one in a trillion (non-existent), but having someone who looks remarkably like you is more probable, with some estimates suggesting a 0.11% chance of having such a counterpart.
