This antique set of 3 beautifully hand-cut crystal square decanters with original square stoppers is a perfect addition to any barware collection. Made in France during the Georgian style period between 1850-1899, these decanters feature a beautiful pinwheels and pineapple pattern. Both the tops of the stoppers and the base of the decanters have 16 ray cuts. With a capacity of 1 liter each, these clear crystal decanters are ideal for all occasions and come with their 3 original stoppers. Each stopper has an etched number that matches it to the decanter which has the same etched number just inside the lip, ensuring that this is the original exactly fitted stopper for this decanter. The etched form of the numbers appear to be the french written form. I have seen this done on decanters made by the St Louis Cristalleries Co. of France. These are tantalus style decanters and each is 8 1/2" tal to the top of the stopper and 3 3/8" square. Each decanter weighs 4 lb. total weight is 12 lbs. All 3 are in absolutely pristine condition with no flaws whatsoever.
