Dainty and delicate!
This stunning, near mint condition antique Victorian christening bonnet is made of very delicate, fine fabric to match an equally fine gown. A dainty lace trim frames the bonnet, which itself is made of ultra fine, sheer silk and silk ribbons. It's surprisingly intact and quite a rare survivor being in such good condition. Ready to be displayed and treasured for another 100 years!
Provenance: From the collection of a Civil War historian, all his antiques were mid 19th century and cared for in accordance with museum standards.
Condition: Antique. A few age related tears along the crown, could be repaired.
