This product is a rare Bisbee, Arizona turquoise chrysocolla gem silica specimen weighing 120.85 grams and measuring 604.25 carats.

It is a natural, unique piece that originates from the United States. The specimen is perfect for collectors of rocks, fossils, and minerals, as well as those interested in display specimens of crystals and mineral specimens. Its one-of-a-kind beauty and origin make it a valuable addition to any collection.

Origin & History:

Originally extracted as a byproduct of copper mining, particularly in the Lavender Pit. Because miners were originally prohibited from taking it, much of the early material was smuggled out in lunchboxes, giving it the nickname "lunchbox turquoise".

Distinct Appearance: It ranges from soft sky blue to a deep lapis-lazuli blue. Its most famous feature is the hard, chocolate-brown to smoky spiderweb matrix.

Rarity: The Lavender Pit mine stopped yielding turquoise decades ago, making genuine Bisbee material increasingly scarce and highly valued by jewelers and collectors.
