Incredible beauty, very high end designed, executed piece of old Art Glass by a Master Studio, bought at estate sale in mid-70's along w/8-9 other pieces from collection,all high end Moser's, Beidermeier, Baccarat & this gorgeous piece.
Very unique, detailed embossed, spider like panels (12) with 22K Gold Gilding from top to bottom, between etc..never seen another, had pictures when we went toThe Museum Of Glass in Prague Czechoslovakia, had a Baccarat Book, not in color but picture, details, it was a custom ordered piece and there were 2 alike ina hand made wooden box w/logo & Crest of Royal Houseit was a gift to.
Beyond rare, only wish we had the other glass and the box set would be worth 5 X the single glass!
Perfect, no chips, cracks, damage, repairs, flea bites, no gold loss absolutely as it left the Masters Studio in early 1850's
Measures: 7.5" tall, cup depth is 3", width at cup is 3.5" incredible stem work down to flared out continued12 paneled Motif with a 1" thickby 2.75" base. Stunning in your hand!!
