Benchmade 100S R&R Dive/ River Rescue Knife. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class. Rare and highly collectible this is the black handle variant of the 100S R&R.

The 100S R&R (River Rescue pattern) is a line of knives Benchmade arguably should never have stopped making. Ostensibly intended for maritime use, the 100S R&R is not your average dive knife. The Elishewitz Nimravus heritage is obvious in aspects of it's design and it compares favorably with the discontinued Nim Cub: as a highly capable, well designed, well made, compact knife that fills the niche between a heavy duty folder and larger, heavier fixed blades. There is nothing in it's design or construction that will limit the 100S R&R to maritime use. The real loss is in that there really isn't anything currently in Benchmade's line that fills this very interesting niche. The 100 series are astoundingly good as a general purpose knife. This is the sort of knife there should be more of but sadly aren't.

Now out of production, the 100S R&R will become increasingly rare as circulating pieces are acquired by collectors.

As you can see from the pictures, this knife has been lightly used but not abused. Please note the scuffs on the handle, scratches on the blade finish. The knife is otherwise in great shape.
