This rare and beautifully crafted 1930s Germany miniature nativity set is a must-have for any collector or religious enthusiast. The set includes 13 pieces, each hand-painted with exquisite detail on bisque ceramic porcelain. The pieces feature a variety of subjects, including Melchoir, Casper, Balthazar (three wise men) Cow, Lamb, Shepherd Boy with dog , Angel Gabriel, the Inn Keeper, Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph and Manger.

The set is an original and was manufactured in Germany during the 1930s. Being made right before World War II in Germany, and having a six pointed Star of David at the top of the manger makes this a very interesting piece and one has to wonder why? It is an antique piece and all the pieces are stamped with Germany and also have etched numbers. Some of the numbers are hidden or difficult to read but appear to be marked 4956 to 4969. This set is almost 100 years old, as anything made in Germany after WWII would have been marked with West or East Germany up until Germany reunified in 1990.

This hand painted 13 piece miniature set is in absolutely amazing condition, especially for its age and has been meticulously preserved and cherished over the years. There is very likely not many if any of these pieces that have survived, especially in this condition.
