Authentic Artifact (140 years old)

Doeskin “bag” that personal items were tucked into and carried as thetribe migrated – either because of weather, or to follow along with a herd of bison(etc.)

Many tribes used an item like this – almost all tribes decorating withgeometric symbols.

This one is a bit unusual in that it is decorated on both side

I do not have the expertise to identify the exact tribe that used thisparticular decoration

This hide is now stiff.

The hunter stretched this out and dried it in the sun, then was able tosoften the hide for use as “luggage”, probably using vegetables (or brain)

17” wide x 30” Tall

I’ve got a string at the top that I use to hang this on the wall.

It is a lovely piece of history
