This stunning, hard-to-find Scalamandré Love Bird pillow (P1098M-002) features intricate gold metallic embroidery combined with silk threadwork on a rich silk damask in a soft beige tone. I purchased several of these exceptional pieces directly from Scalamandré in multiple colorways. This is a current pattern at Scalamandré, but the embroidered versions—especially with metallic detailing—are virtually impossible to find today. These pieces haven’t appeared on retail or resale sites for years, and I haven’t come across another like it since.
