Authentic, highly collectible vintage Paolo Soleri (Cosanti/Arcosanti) Model 111 bronze windbell, dating from the early 1970s. This is a rare example for collectors of Mid-Century Modern design, brutalist art, and desert architecture.
Made in Arizona, by Paolo Soleri (1919-2013) and staff at either Cosanti or Arcosanti, this abstract patterned bell is a beautiful addition to any art-themed collection, showcasing the skill and creativity of Soleri's late 20th-century work.

• The Mark: Features the desirable, lifetime, early hand-struck "askew abstract square" cipher mark—Paolo Soleri's personal artist monogram—struck by hand into the sand mold before casting.
• All-Original Assembly: Unlike many vintage handmade bells on the market, this piece retains its original, untouched sheet metal triangle fin and original closed S-shaped loop connection hardware.
• Design & Dimensions: Classic Model 111 "slot-cut" design. Measures approximately 21" long, 2.5 inches wide at the base of the bronze cast bell, and 4.5" wide at the base of the creased 5" fin. Weighs 1 lb, 9 oz.

•Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a gorgeous, naturally weathered desert patina. The rugged, weathered "desert crust"oxidation on the bronze housing and the rich verdigris are completely original.
