Impressive oversized antique brass chamberstick / candlestick manufactured by The Vincent Mfg. Co., Cleveland, Ohio, and stamped 533 on the underside.

This is an unusually large and substantial example, measuring approximately 17” high with an 8” diameter base. It has a tall ring-turned column, large loop carrying handle, broad circular drip pan/base and an oversized candle cup at the top.

The piece has a wonderful old untouched patinated finish, ranging from dark bronze/brown to warmer exposed brass tones. I have left it exactly as found and have not polished it.

The underside is clearly stamped:

Overall in good antique condition with expected age and use wear, surface scratches, oxidation, discoloration and variations to the old patina. There appears to be an age line/seam or possible old stress crack at the interior of the upper candle cup, visible in the close-up photograph, and this is mentioned for accuracy. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition.

A particularly unusual, architectural-scale American brass chamberstick with a terrific old surface and strong decorative presence.
