Annie Jones (1865-1902) was one of P. T. Barnum’s most important Freak Show stars. At this current time, check our other sales for the absolute rarest photo of Annie Jones at just a few years of age and already sporting light facial and body hairs. She was then promoted as The Infant Esau. We know of no other photo of her at that age. CHECK IT OUT! In this photo she is several years older. The photo is in good vintage condition with a little lightness and only some normal expected age wear. A dark vertical mark on the upper left can possibly be cleaned off. The image is crisp and untouched. The piece is sold, but there are few barely visible horizontal streaks which resemble creases, but we believe these are only slight irregularities made in the photography studio. Very nice photo!
