This unique art piece is an original acrylic painting titled "Golden Red Sundown". The artwork features a colorful play on light with an abstract and post-impressionist style. Created in 1992 by artist Bonita Bramante, this piece is signed and one of a kind (OOAK).

Measuring 15 inches in length, 11.5 inches in height, and 15 inches in width, this medium-sized painting is handmade on Masonite with the use of Golden professional grade acrylic paint. The artwork is unframed and comes from the region of Louisiana, USA. It is a great addition to any art collection and a beautiful display of Native American/Italian culture.

The photos were all taken on the same day and hour but I moved the painting around to different light intensity. You will notice that the color changes within different light. This will also occur once it is hung. It does not need artificial lighting as the play on color is done through out the change of day and light. In the evening it will glow . In the brightest light it will shimmer. And so on. This play on color was done through my painting style. I use only three primary colors pure pigment in gel medium. All blending was done directly on the canvas. The glowing effect comes from the technique I discovered while creating the works. This is one of my earliest paintings where I developed this technique.

This painting can not be photographed with a flash camera or artificial lighting. It took me years to figure out how to photograph. The best photos are done in indirect lighting. This work will also be difficult to frame. I have developed a way to frame these works . If you would like it framed we can discuss this and I can quote a price for a one of a kind hand painted frame.
