Selling my extremely rare original Marilyn Monroe, while she was still only known as Norma Jeane, photograph taken by Andre De Dienes during their road trip together across California and into Oregon in 1945. Here she is looking gorgeous in her Christmas sweater, the jeans Andre purchased for her and showing her wedding ring at a pumpkin patch they stopped at along the way. In excellent condition. This is from, if not the best, then one of the very best Marilyn Monroe photo collectors of all time, Kim Goodwin. Kim was a man of many talents, he loved and had a deep appreciation for Marilyn, he actually worked for photographer, George Barris, and chose to be paid in photographs and negatives. He was extremely talented, among many talents, he was a photographic preservationist, there are many books that credit him for the use of his photos. He was a highly skilled Marilyn doll designer, some would argue perhaps the best because his dolls looked so life like and captured Marilyn’s beauty in a way no other designer could and they had a gracefulness to them that was unparalleled, and as mentioned above contributed to many books on her. He was also a sought after, highly regarded, expert stylist/artist to the stars.
