This well illustrated unit history recounts the regiment\'s fighting at the battles of Winchester, Piedmont and Lynchburg as well as vivid descriptions of soldier\'s experiences as captives in Libby Prison and Belle Island. Includes complete rosters of the regiment.The regiment lost a total of 152 men during service; 4 officers and 67 enlisted men killed or mortally wounded, 1 officer and 80 enlisted men died of disease.
