Up for offer is an adorable Antique African Americal Doll Baby that I believe is made of what was called Composition...There is heavy and lighter crazing of the top brown layer...The legs don\'t appear to have any crazing...One left chest and under chin is heaviest crazing...The chest part is more like a crack in the top layer of the paint but no chips have fallen off yet...The eyes and eyebrows and hair is handpainted...This is a Drink Wet doll as holes in both areas...Appears from shape of hands that she would have held her bottle up to mouth area as when I move hands up to that area it would have landed in mouth area if bottle was put in hand...(this is a guess on my part) The arms and legs are strung inside the doll and are still nice and tight...Might have been restrung at one time, I don\'t know...The clothes are handmade...There is an outer dress and an underslip, a hat and bloomers...The elastic on bloomers is dried out and stretched out...There are two little socks also...Measures with legs down apx. 13 3/4\" long and apx. 3 1/2 wide measuring across front of tummy from side to side looking straight on....Measuring all the way around the plump little tummy is 10 1/2\"....Due to delicate nature of item, I feel I need to ship him/her by Priority Mail...
