BeautifulGerman Antique dollQUEEN LOUISE by ARMAND MARSEILLE.
She is roughly25\"- 26\" tall. Beautiful complexion,.Havingblue glasssleepeyes,some lashes remain.There is glue an material residue around the crown of her head, I have not tried to remove. I have checked inside the head with light and see no chips or cracks, one chip at inside rim of crown in front as shown, no effect to the head.
Painted feather brows,with lower painted lashes, (some top lashes remain)red dot accents, open mouth with top teeth little dimple chin. Little double looking chin.I see no damage to her head,
Marked on her back QUEEN LOUISE no mold number, but up by crown area, maybe 30. at nape of neck 9. The bodyhas been repainted but nice. Having finger damage as shown, with missing pinkie, the top joints for her legs show repair.. I don\'t do repairs, but she looks great for anearly doll.
. She iswell dressed in a darling2 pc outfit of white swiss dot, with lace andpink or lilac ribbon trim.replaced full slip, pantaloons, socks and shoes. One shoe is missing the ribbon at the toe.Ready for display

Keep in mind back then they took care of their dolls as it may have been the only one they ever got, unlike now the girls strip them through them in a corner, and off the junk pile to get a newer one. These olddolls need to be kept alive for our next generation of collectors.
