Up for sale is a rare and very beautiful art deco era (1920\'s) sterling (marked on bail and tested) guilloche green enamel and marcasite pendant in the shape of a hand mirror. The pendant is long measuring approx 3 3/4\" by approx .1 1/2\" wide at widest part at top of mirror pendant. I have added a 30\" long sterling box link chain but a shorter chain would also work well. This was from the estate of a very wealthy lady and was told that this could have been brought back from a trip to Europe probably France. The attention to detail is amazing. It is truly a miniature of a fabulous hand mirror. It is in beautiful condition for age. There is a little clouding on the edging of the mirror which would be expected for something of this age. The green guilloche enameling is intact and the color is kelly green or malachite color. My photos don\'t show how beautiful the green is. Out of the hundreds of marcasites on this piece, I only see one tiny one missing on the top of the mirror side using my loupe. This piece was definitely madeby a master craftsman.Pendant and chain weigh 45 grams.Actually I have never seen one like this. Thanks for looking and offerding.
