BeautifulAntique Victorian Art Nouveaugold coloredmetaljewelry casket.This is a large one measuring 9 1/2\" long by 4 3/4\" at its widest. It isfooted, has a hinged lid, classichighly raised relief with cherubs,flowers andvines. It still has itsoldgreen silk lining in the top lid, with some deterioration, the bottom portion is long gone. It is heavy weighing almost 5 pounds. The hinge is in good working order.Lovely patina with a few spots of discoloration on the top lid adding to its character. The Makers mark on the bottom reads N B Rogers S P Co with the numbers 931.
