The box is cylindrical, three and three quarter inches high and one and one half inches in diameter.
Marked MacGregor on the top of the lid.
In excellent condition with no splits to the wood, the Tartan covering is bright and free of any damage, the lettering is clear.
The lid is a nice snug fit.
It contains five steel and brass spools but I still think it was designed to hold needles. I will send these with the box anyway.
