Offered here is Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 fountain pen in excellent, almost unused condition.
The pen dates from the late eighties ( a year or two before Montblanc introduced serial numbers)
The two tone nib is 14 carat medium.
Marked \" Germany\" on its clip\'s ring.
Its center ring is marked Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 as shown in the pictures.
Piston based ink filling mechanism.
This pen fills with ink by first turning its top knob counterclockwise which lowers the piston ( piston will appear in the clear viewing window), submerging its nib in ink, and turning the knob clockwise which raises the piston and fills the barrel with ink. This is just a reminder since piston based Montblancs are delicate writing instruments frequently abused by users trying to unscrew knobs without clear idea how those pens work.
