Description: We are pleased to offer this beautiful porcelain an old lady holding apitcher, a stick at her side, on a square base. This figure has appraisal certificate.

Marked: The back ofthe figurine is marked crown N.

Measures: 6 1/2” inches tall.

Condition: It is in Very Good Condition, (see pictures).

History: The original CapoDi Monte factory was based near Naples from 1743 to 1759 when it was moved toMadrid, it produced very high quality porcelain and used a fleur de lys as amark.
After it had moved another factory set up in Naples and it is this factory thatused the crowned N mark, this factory closed in 1821.
After the closure of this second factory a number of people in Italy andelsewhere began to use the crowned N mark and the name Capo Di Monte toassociate their wares with these previous factories.

ThisFigure wouldmake a beautiful display piece and will make a great addition to yourcollection.
