This fine bisque porcelain egg is hand-painted in an open work design. Inside, a cheery chickadee lights upon a glossy sprig of holly and is a vision that captures the joy of the season and is crafted in the grand artistic tradition of elegant Faberge’ creations. The radiant shades of color, flowing in brilliant hues, are created by applying pure gold (.999 fine) to molten glass. Hand crafted in Malaysia, only a very few glass artists have mastered the technique of releasing the true colors from 24k gold. Certificate of Authenticity is included to certify that The Faberge’ Chicadee Egg is an original design from the House of Faberge’. It is also certified that The Faberge’ Chicadee Egg is crafted in fine bisque porcelain with 24 karat gold accents and hand-painted in exacting detail and is available exclusively through The Franklin Mint.
