Bisque socket head, plump facial modeling, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils, closed mouth, defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition IS generally excellent. Marks in the back of head red inked:_ Depose Tete Jumeau SGDG 12 (and artist checkmarks on head) and original body, by Emile Jumeau, circa 1890. that pretty bebe has fine gleaming patina, original body, and is wearing all original JUMEAU COUTURE antique mariner costume, undergarments, leather boots (incised 12) with silk rosettes, and tan leather mariner cap with gilt lettering \"H.M.S.Star\". doll preserved in original JUMEAU BOX marked size 12, with no lid.
